Hit n Giggle

September 7 @ 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of our beautiful Wasatch Mountain State Park. This year’s Hit n Giggle will encourage participants to reminisce with us by displaying those “yesteryear” clothes and golf clubs that have been gathering dust just waiting for this opportunity.

Proceeds from this year’s event will support construction of a Pavilion at the historic Huber Grove Farm. This 19th Century homestead is a popular place for visitors, families, and friends to gather for special occasions. The proposed Pavilion will accommodate group gatherings in an attractive, fully functional structure that blends into the scenic environment of the Wasatch Mountain State Park.

Online registration coming in June. If you can’t wait, download the form here and mail check to Friends of Wasatch MSP, PO Box 727, Midway, UT 84049

Here are the descriptions of the different levels of hikes. Please read them and choose which one you want to participate in. Please note the age limits when selecting.

Beginning snowshoe hike. This hike will be on the golf course. You will leave the Visitor Center
and walk along the groomed trail for one half hour and then turn around and come back. No
elevation change and easy trail to follow.

Beginning- Intermediate snowshoe hike will be at the Pine Creek trailhead inside the
campground area up Pine Canyon Road. You will check in at the VC and head up to the
campground after announcements. The elevation change is about 600 feet and the trail is more of
a challenge than the Golf course trail. You will snowshoe out for one half hour and come back.
Meet back at the Visitor Center for refreshments.

Intermediate Hike will be the Spring Pond Loop. This is more challenging than the Pine Creek
hike, with an elevation change of 600 feet and some switchbacks and uphill climb. You will
leave at the Visitor Center and cross the road to connect to the trail system. You will be out for
about an hour and a half. Age limit is 13 and above.

Advance snowshoe hike will be the Spring Pond loop to one of the connecting upper trails for a
good challenge with elevation change of 1000 feet. This hike is very challenging and not for children under 18. Please be prepared
for this snowshoe hike. You will be out for about an hour and a half.
